Grin and Beard It
Winston Brothers #2

Publication Date: May 31, 2016
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romantic Comedy

Sienna Diaz is everyone’s favorite “fat” funny lady. The movie studio executives can’t explain it, but her films are out-grossing all the fit and trim headliners and Hollywood’s most beautiful elite. The simple truth is, everyone loves plus-sized Sienna.

But she has a problem, she can’t read maps and her sense of direction is almost as bad as her comedic timing is stellar. Therefore, when Sienna’s latest starring role takes her to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park she finds herself continually lost while trying to navigate the backroads of Green Valley, Tennessee. Much to her consternation, Sienna’s most frequent savior is a ridiculously handsome, charming, and cheeky Park Ranger by the name of Jethro Winston. Sienna is accustomed to high levels of man-handsome, so it’s not Jethro’s chiseled features or his perfect physique that make Sienna stutter. It’s his southern charm. And gentlemanly manners. And habit of looking at her too long and too often. Sienna has successfully navigated the labyrinth of Hollywood heartthrobs. But can she traverse the tenuous trails of Tennessee without losing her head? Or worse, her heart?

Penny is an author that stands out from the crowd. Her sense in humor is hilarious, with touches of sexy romance and swoon-worthy characters. I have loved her books ever since starting Knitting in the City all those years ago. The Winston Brothers were first introduced in Beauty and the Mustache, 4th book of the Knitting series. When Penny decided to a spin-off series with the Winston Brothers...HELLS YEAH. Who wouldn't want to know all six sexy beardy men? So, I'm going to do a small throwback to the release day of of Beauty and the Mustache,  giving you a taste of what's to come. Yummy, right? ;)

PLOT LINE - As the eldest Winston brother, Jethro has made some mistakes in his past, following his father's footsteps would be the first. Being a part of  a biker gang has many risks. And, when someone close to him was put at risk, he had to find a way out. Six years later, he made some changes in his life to become a more respectable man. Rules were set: no more sleeping around with different women or getting into a obscenely drunken state. No woman has caught his attention...until Sienna  Diaz made her arrival. Sienna was tired of the spotlight as a well known comedian and actress. Trying to get away from it all, she embarked on a journey to the next film destination, by herself. Not a smart move, when reading maps is not her forte. As a sexy park ranger comes to her rescue, she couldn't help by give him a second look...scratch that: make that multiple looks.

Grin and Beard It is a hilarious novel that will make you laugh until you cry. It will make you swoon over sexy men. It will make you fall in love with each and every character, especially the Winston Brothers. Each brother is unique in their own way. As more brothers make their cameos, you wouldn't want to miss the release of their books. As a plus, the flow of the story makes you feel like you are watching a movie...(funny as Sienna is starring in a movie in this story).

CHEMISTRY - Oh this slow burning one of my favorite slow burning romance. Every encounter between Jethro and Sienna gets steamier, sexier, and even more swoon-worthy. But they don't do the deed right away...haha You'll get the build up of the romances with the smallest touches and sweetest gestures. They each have a way with words that will make you want more of their goofy conversations and blunt honesty. As their story unfolds, you can't help but keep going until you reached the end.
