SAWYER BENNETT has done it again!! I love love love how Ms. Bennett will always find a way to entertain us with her witty, sexy, and steamy novels. Her newest addition, Sugar Bowl series, will keep you glued to you seat. I finished this book in just one sitting and the cliffhanger will make you want more!! Gahhh!!
PLOT LINE - Sela Halstead is seeking revenge. Revenge for a horrific event, ingrained in her memory like it was just yesterday. Finding a way to kill the culprit, Johnathan Townsend, may be one of her best decisions yet. The only way to do it...become a Sugar baby in the Sugar Bowl. In doing so, she didn't expect to run into Beck, one of the masterminds behind Sugar Bowl. Is he the ticket to get closer to JT and finish the job? Can she break a couple hearts along the way without breaking hers? This story will be a quick read, leaving you in a rush for the second one. (How fitting of a title for the second book!) The transitions between two POVs is clean and smooth. You'll get a taste of the whole picture of their story.
CHEMISTRY - Beck. Sexy name for one hell of a sexy character! This man will literally melt your panties off. When he first appears on the pages, you will be fanning yourself from his hottness. Gosh, I just want more of him haha When Sela appears in his line of sight, you know things are about to get steamy up in here! She kills the scenes with her confidence and sassiness. Smoldering looks from Beck + sassy attitude from Sela = one intense connection. The sexy scenes will live up to their intensity. I just want more of them...their stories will begin to unravel and intertwine and things will get a hella more interesting when the truth comes out. Oh boy...will there be a lot of drama between these two.
CLIFFHANGERS - As much as I hate cliffhangers, I cannot resist reading this book. And, this cliffhanger will not disappoint! It leaves you off at the right moment where you want answers. You'll be sitting, standing, laying, etc. (however you are holding your book) wondering: what the hell did he just say? Oh HELL to the NO. He did not just say that! His reaction is pretty reasonable but his words will cut you with a knife. I can't wait to see the opening scene in Sugar Rush!!
