Firstly, can we just admire the beautiful cover? It's so simple and yet so beautiful at the same time. All the contrast and layers, from the portrait of a women who blends in so well with the black background to the pop of color and cool font. All eye-catching! It makes you want to know her story. Is she hiding something? Only one way to find out!
Holy F*CK...Bethany-Kris and London Miller...what you have done to my heart?! GUYS....THIS STORY. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN...Maybe where the sun hides ;) You may already know I am a huge..HUGE fan of Bethany-Kris. Her mafia world(s) just suck(s) you in and you just want to be a part of it (minus the dangerous parts). This ball of romance, danger, and drama is beautifully wrapped with a red ribbon. A ribbon drenched in blood. This new discovery of London Miller blew me away...I'm looking forward to what her books have in store for the future. This pairing is just brilliant! I'm so happy they found each other because they can write some more together ;) I just can't get enough of this book. I NEED MORE!!
PLOT LINE - Two families. Italians vs Russians. Cosa Nostra vs Bratva. When two people from different sides collide, there is no going back. Once that line is broken, they just have to live with the consequences that are to come. Kazimir Markovic, an heir to the Russian seat in Bratva, tend to follow his father's rules. Loyalty to the family is number one. Betray the family...death will come. Staying away from the Italians is not hard to miss. But, when one of them stumbles in his path, the one who made quite an impression on him 10+ years ago...it'll be hard to let her go. Once Violet Galluci entered the a space she thought was safe...she didn't expect to run into trouble. When a group of Russians arrive on the scene, no one knew a forbidden romance was about to brew. One particular Russian caught her off guard. His mysterious nature, in addition to a feeling of recognition somewhere in her mind, clouded her judgement for a moment. Let's just say, curiosity killed the cat, with these two.
CHEMISTRY - HOT DAMN. That's all I can say. HOLY SH*T, every touch, every gesture, every facial expression with their sly smiles and curious eyes will make you melt. All the forbidden tension and deep connection made their relationship explosive. They were meant to be, the second they were on the page. There is a magnetic field that surrounds Kaz and Violet.
