Synopsis: His Cinderella isn’t looking for a fairy tale…
Alicia Forkes went to a trendy club looking for a way to forget her troubles, and she found that in the arms of the gorgeous man who swept her off of her feet…and into one of the hottest encounters she’d ever had in her life. Awesome sex with a stranger is now something she can check off her bucket list.
Except he isn’t exactly a stranger. He’s the guy who broke her heart when they were teens, an experience she doesn’t plan on repeating.
Prince Leo can’t believe he’s finally found the woman he’s loved for years, and she wants nothing to do with him. When she shows up at his office, she looks anything but princess-like. In fact, she’s cursing him to hell and back. She may not be Cinderella, but he’s determined to prove he’s the prince for her––even if it means letting her go.
PLOT LINE - This is such an adorable story. It reminded me of a mix between The Prince & Me and What a Girl Wants. Yes, they are both cheesy films but you need those in your life from time to time!! A prince who can't forget a girl from his past. A girl who wants to move on from a broken heart. A second chance meeting putting them in a sticky situation. Once she realizes it him...tensions run high. Can he win back her love?
CHEMISTRY - How can you say no Prince Leo? Well...you can't with all that sexiness vibe coming off of him. The second Alicia laid her eyes on Leo, you know she was a goner. That connection she felt was so familiar, it was a reminder of a boy she was in love with all those years ago. Can it really be him? Well, she is on a mission so she can't linger in the past much longer. After that night, the past does eventually catch up to her and she is in for a surprise. The one question that may be hard to answer: is she ready to open her heart for more possible heartbreak? Another: is he willing to let her go a second time? The moment when they realize it's all meant to be...SWOON. That declaration of love *sigh*....
