Wingman rule number one: don’t fall for a client.

After a career-ending accident, former NFL recruit Ian Hunter is back on campus—and he’s ready to get his new game on. As one of the masterminds behind Wingmen, Inc., a successful and secretive word-of-mouth dating service, he’s putting his extensive skills with women to work for the lovelorn. But when Blake Olson requests the services of Wingmen, Inc., Ian may have landed his most hopeless client yet.

From her frumpy athletic gear to her unfortunate choice of footwear, Blake is going to need a miracle if she wants to land her crush. At least with a professional matchmaker by her side she has a fighting chance. Ian knows that his advice and a makeover can turn Blake into another successful match. But as Blake begins the transformation from hot mess to smokin’ hot, Ian realizes he’s in danger of breaking his cardinal rule…
Where do I even start?! Rachel Van Dyken is one of favorite authors, who never disappoints with a new book release. 12 series and over 50 books...there is nothing she can't write about that leaves you laughing, swooning, breathless and excited. And luckily, The Matchmaker's Playbook contains all four!

PLOT LINE - Have you ever had a crush and never had the guts to approach them? Well, with a little help from Wingman Inc., they can show you the ropes on how to hook your crush in seven days. SEVEN DAYS. If not, you don't have to pay for their services...they are THAT good at what they do. Just follow their creed and you'll never fail. From flirting to kissing, they make sure you are prepared to catch your crush. Blake Olsen has known her crush for ten years. Growing up and being like one of the guys doesn't quite catch his attention. With the help from Ian Hunter, Blake transforms from a sloppy tomboy to sexy woman. Along with one sassy personality, Blake may have Ian break his cardinal rule by the end of the week: never date your clients. Since Ian is almost as sassy as Blake, you will be laughing at every conversation throughout the process.

While I was reading this book, it reminded me of the movie The DUFF. Not the book...the movie (since the movie is so different from the book!). If you have watched the movie, you'll love the book. If you've never watched the movie, you should...after you finish this book of course. There a couple similarities along the lines of hot guy trying to help a hot mess of a girl get noticed by a guy she likes.

CHEMISTRY - Their meet-cute basically set off the chemistry in the book. When Blake is enlisted as a client, not only does Ian laugh the fact...he knows it will be a piece of cake. Once he shows off the fact that Blake is in fact a woman, things get a little heated. When small touches leads to smoldering kisses, there may be some confusion on where this is all headed. All their interactions will make you want the sexy times because their chemistry is off the charts.

LEX & GABI - Two of Ian's best friends, they can create their own set of drama in this book. They are a like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. All that tension will eventually lead to on hot and sexy book. When you get to the might feel like a cliffhanger. I'm so excited for their story!
